Dhanya began her pursuit of Bharatnatyam at a young age of five and has rigorously worked to perfect the art form for over a decade under the guidance of Guru Kalashri Asha Gopal.

Dhanya is 16 yrs old and is a junior at BASIS PEORIA High School.  

Dance has instilled qualities such as discipline, perseverance, and dedication which has taken her so far that dance has become her passion.
