Rohan Musti
Rohan Musti is 11 years old and is a 6th grade student at BASIS Chandler. He has been learning carnatic flute for the past 3 years, from his esteemed guru Shri Athul Kumar, grandson of Flute Maestro N Ramani. At Basis, he is also learning western flute. Apart from flute, he has great interest in visual arts. Trained by Smt Lavanya Dantaluri, he has several beautiful creations to his credit. He also learns tabla from Shri Prafulla Athyale and learns Devanrityam from his mother Smt Ramya Ranganathan Srinivas and kathak from Kum Daksha Swaminathan. He is learning veda parayanam from Shri Vishwanath Hegde. Rohan has offered his vadya seva, chitra seva, veda seva and nritya sevas in several of YADA’s Anandotsav series. He has also performed in FAA composers day events. He learns Sanskrit that is being offered by YADA’s After School Program in collaboration with the Samskrita Bharati organization.
Rohan loves Math and solving problems and excels at it. He is rank holder in kangaroo math competition held nation wide.
He is thankful to YADA for presenting several opportunities to him to enhance, showcase and offer his art forms to the divine.
Apart from the arts, he is an avid cricket player and is being trained by his Dad Srinivas Musti as his coach as an all-rounder for Arizona under 12 cricket team. He participated in national level cricket tournaments and is awarded the Man of the Match series at the NYCL U11 Tournament 2021
