Smita Gopalakrishnan has been learning Bharatanatyam since the age of 6 from Guru Kalashri Asha Gopal in the Arathi School of Dance. In 2013, Smita completed her arangetram (graduation performance) and has continued to pursue this art form throughout college. Through the Arathi School of Dance, Smita has participated in numerous dance performances and productions both nationally and in India. Some of her noteworthy performances including participating in Arathi School’s Magic in Movement and Nrithyantara in Bangalore. Smita hopes to continue pursuing her passion for dance in the future.
